Onlineprinters Connector for AI Assistants (Claude, ChatGPT)

The Onlineprinters Connector enables you to find and configure print products, retrieve prices and delivery dates, and receive a cart link in AI assistants such as Claude (Anthropic) and ChatGPT (OpenAI). You ask your question in the assistant, and the assistant decides whether to call the Connector. The Connector processes the information transmitted with the request, in particular search terms, products, options, dimensions, delivery country or shop, and, in the case of ChatGPT, country and language. It returns the response to the assistant, which displays it in your chat. Without a customer account, the Connector only displays content from the product page. To order in the shop and to query your orders, invoices and quotes, you need an Onlineprinters customer account; the Connector accesses it only if you connect it and grant access to specific areas. It then only reads data and makes no changes. This notice describes the processing by Onlineprinters. Processing by the provider of your assistant is governed by that provider's terms. Search queries may be stored in operational logs for up to 30 days. Please do not include personal information in product queries that is not needed for the product and price. The cart link contains no information about you and is valid for 24 hours. Login, ordering and payment take place in the shop, where the shop's privacy notice applies.

If you connect the Connector to your Onlineprinters customer account, it only reads the areas you grant access to: orders, invoices or quotes (including numbers, date, products, status, amounts, delivery date and shipment tracking). It transmits this information to the assistant. The Connector does not pass on addresses, contact or payment data, and it makes no changes to your customer account. For the connection, we store encrypted access to your customer account, your customer number, the shop, the assistant and the access you have granted. You can disconnect at any time at https://mcp.onlineprinters.com/oauth/disconnect. The connection ends automatically after 90 days without use. We delete the access when the connection ends, and the other connection data 90 days after last use.

Where your shop offers this, you can upload a print file (PDF, JPEG or PNG, up to 100 MB) for a product. It is stored via our service provider Filestack in our storage at Google Cloud in Frankfurt am Main and linked to the product via the cart link. Files attached in ChatGPT are first stored with OpenAI. Print files may contain personal data. We do not analyse their content. If you share a cart link with a print file, anyone who opens it while it is valid will receive the product with your print file in their cart. Ordered print files are retained for two years to enable reprints to be produced without any changes; print files not ordered are deleted after 72 hours.

To transmit data and protect against overload and misuse, we process the IP address of the calling system and technical log data. Logs are deleted after 30 days. The pages for connecting and disconnecting only set technically necessary cookies for login and for selecting the country shop (Section 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG).

The processing is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to provide the functions you request, to support the preparation of print orders and to operate the Connector securely.

To provide the Connector, Onlineprinters GmbH uses Google Cloud for hosting, storage and logs, and Filestack for uploading print files. Filestack is a provider based in the USA. Individual requests may be processed briefly, and logs for their retention period, outside the EU. Where personal data is transferred to US entities of Google or Filestack, the transfer is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) under Article 45 GDPR. The US entities used are certified. The Connector's responses appear in your chat. There, they are processed by the provider of the assistant (Anthropic or OpenAI) under its own responsibility and in accordance with its privacy notice, including in the USA.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling or training AI models, and we do not use third-party tracking technologies.

Right to object: You may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation under Article 21 GDPR.
