Crease lines/grain direction

Crease lines

In our sample documents for folded flyers, the points where the paper must be folded are marked with fold lines making it easier for you to design the layout. Unfortunately, we cannot check your printing data for the correct arrangement of the individual pages or the fold lines.

Grain direction

Within the paper industry, the grain direction of paper refers to the arrangement of pulp fibres in the finished product.

Unfortunately, we cannot always pay attention to the grain direction of the paper when positioning on our combined run forms. Under certain circumstances, a slight cracking may not be avoidable during the folding process.

Summary:

  • Fold lines cannot be checked.
  • We cannot always take the grain direction into consideration.
  • Slight cracking may be unavoidable during the folding process.
